  • The adminastators, Mrs. Janet Buchheit, Mr. Tim Teachey, Mr. Mat Schult, and Mr. Mel Morris, attend a retreat with other members of different schools.
  • “Because of the expenses we’re keeping it locally,” said Teachey
  • They come up with new ideas for the school
  • “We are wrestling with things we can do, that’s fun for the school,” said Teachey
  • These ideas include a “class night”, which includes a pep rally.

This past weekend, the Waynesboro High Forensics team placed first at the district Forensics meet at Lee High. Because of their fantastic efforts, several members of the team have qualified to compete at the regional level. The team members are:

  • Victoria O’Leary—3rd place Humorous Interpretation
  • Kylene Kerby—2nd place Poetry
  • Eugene Fitzgerald—3rd place Poetry
  • Logan Hamlyn—1st place storytelling
  • Cortez Anderson—2nd place Storytelling
  • Sam Eldredge and Katie Fitzgerald—1st place Duo Interpretation
  • Jordan Driskill—1st place Prose

  • The indoor track takes part in the meet at Fort Defiance High School on December 9, at 4:15.
  • Wrestling takes part in the Harrisonburg Invitational on December 11, at 5:00.
  • Swimming will be backstroking to the Jameson YMCA in Lynchburg on December 11, at 6:30.
  • The basketball teams will be at Spotswood on December 11, 5:30.
  • December 12, indoor track will be at the Heritage meet in Lynchburg that is TBA.
  • Wrestling will be again participating at the Harrisonburg Invitational at 8:30.
